Yes, The Digs on Church is ideally suited to post graduate students who require privacy and a studious environment.
Applicants must be registered as a full-time student at a tertiary institution.
Yes, we do allow students with NSFAS funding and loans to stay in our res. Terms and conditions do apply, so we advise you to discuss these with management.
There is a pre-approval and confirmation process, which is handled by our admin department. If you are studying with a bursary and would like to use your bursary to cover your accommodation expenses, you need to provide all details of your bursary.
Yes. We are within 2KM from the campus.
All occupants are expected to maintain the safety of the premises by ensuring all gates and doors are closed and locked before leaving the building. There is armed response and electric fencing.
No. All rooms are single.
Preference is given to 12-month contracts.
No, students have to arrange their own bedding. Each room is, however, equipped with a bed.
There is no cost for using the laundry facilities. You do, however, need to provide your own washing powder and softener.
Once we have received your signed contract and deposit, our administrator will send you confirmation.
You only need to vacate the premises when you have completed your stay for the year, and not when your contract has been extended into a new academic year. You may therefore leave your belongings in your room during the full period of your accommodation.
After full inspection of the room, when you vacate the premises at the end of your contract. Any breakage, outstanding rent, and outstanding maintenance will be deducted, and the remainder will be paid back within 30 days.
There is parking for a selected number of rooms. Parking area is gated and fenced.
